The coins are always placed in special protective capsules or tubes, and the minted bars in their original vacuum packaging. When delivered to an address or courier's office, the products are also carried in specially made transport packaging, placed in an envelope with its own serial number, by the courier.

Carat is a measure of the purity of the gold alloy.
1 carat is 1/24th by weight of pure metal content. Therefore, 24 karat gold is 99.99% pure gold, 12 karat is 50% pure gold and 50% impurities, etc.
The carat system is gradually being supplemented and replaced by the metric system, in which the purity of gold is measured in thousandths of pure metal in the alloy. For example, gold of 999 purity means 99.9% pure gold, 750 purity means 75% gold and 25% impurities.

We determine the carats of the products by precise chemical analysis. We use quartz plates, testers with guaranteed gold content and a mixture of nitric and hydrochloric acid.

We trade investment gold and silver, as well as buying gold and silver products such as bars and coins.

White gold is a mixture of gold with impurities of nickel, silver or other metal of grey colour.
White gold is an impurity, not a separate chemical element or a rarer and more expensive metal. Therefore, the highest grade at which we buy white gold is 750 (18 carats).

Under current legislation in UAE and European Union, when a customer sells gold to SEC Jewellery, the parameters of the sale must be described in a document issued by the seller. The document must also contain the identification details of the person issuing the document. As individuals do not issue documents, SEC Jewellery is obliged to issue a document upon purchase which must contain the details in question. In UAE, we require the Original Purchase to buy Gold/Silver from individual customers.

No.If you wish to keep your stones, we advise you to remove them before selling your jewellery. Our specialists will try to remove them undamaged and return them to you, but this is not a guaranteed process as the tools we use are rough.

Gold redemption takes place in all SEC Jewellery offices.
